Pret simply means ready to wear. No trip to the tailor, no waiting, no guessing whether the sleeves will come back the length you asked for. You choose your size, it arrives finished, and you can wear it that evening if you want to.
This is a look at the pret pieces we have been carrying this season, photographed as they came in. Most of these run from small through extra large, and the cuts are deliberately easy — the kind of thing you can wear to a dinner, a mehndi, or an ordinary Thursday without thinking too hard about it.
The collection
Muted, embroidered and unfussy — these are the pieces that get worn most, because they do not need an occasion. A raw silk or khaddar shirt with a straight trouser works as well for a family lunch as it does for an evening invitation.
